June- Kelly's First Girls Camp.

This year we had Girls Camp on a ward level. Since we were having it up a Kelly's Families cabin he came up as one of the Priesthood leaders.

He was a little nervous a first.

But I think he ended up having fun despite all the women.

Also in June I went to Youth Conference. While there I got to ride a tandem bike, something i have always wanted to do. To bad I didn't take a picture.

A few months before my birthday I watched Horton hears a who for the first time and found out that Horton heard the who on my birthday. So we decided to have a party to celebrate.

April - Gramdma's Gettin' Married in the Morning!

At the end of April. Kelly, Spencer, Sam, Hyrum, and I headed out to Iowa for Grandma Stegalls wedding to George. It was a long drive but we had a lot of fun. We brought along a few friends Wolfgang & Chang to help document our adventures.

Here I am with Wolfgang blowing bubbles right after the Wedding.I was trying to get as close as I could to the Lady with the amazing hair. I couldn't leave without getting a picture of it. I can't wait till I'm older and can pull a hairdo like that off.

So I have not blogged for a long time and I didn't think anyone even look so I wasn't worried about it, however it seems that there are a few who check in. So for those that do (Aunt Susan and Grandma) I will post for each of the remaining months of 2010 since my last post in April.

Kelly turned 28 a week ago. He Loves his birthday! We didn't do much since it was conference weekend but I think he had a good day. Here are some pictures of Kelly through the years. You can see he has always been a pretty happy guy. I'm so glad to have him and his positive attitude in my life. Love you Kelly, you're the best of the best with honors!

Winter Weekend

Last weekend Kelly & I spent friday night and saturday up at his family's cabin. It was so nice to get away even for a little while. I am not a fan of winter so I never really had any snow boots or snow pants. I never needed them since I have always spent as little time as possible in the snow. Well I knew I would need some so I went to the DI and got these. (the whole outfit is a little crazy)

Saturday Morning we went snowshoeing I had never been before and it was so much fun. We found the snowshoes in the closet they were really old but the still worked.

So at the beginning of this month Kelly told me about this contest on the radio where they were giving away a pair of season tickets to the Utah Jazz every day in september. He wanted to win really bad. You had to listen to a clue in the morning and then call in at night with the answer. Some of the things were really hard and I have no idea how anyone got them but they did. One day the clue was that they were going to randomly post different words on their twitter pages and you had to make a sentence out of the words. I thought this might be our chance, so I signed up for twitter and started looking for the words. When I had them all I made the sentence and told Kelly what it was. We both called in when they said it was time. They were taking the 13th called and it was ME! they asked me the sentence and I told them it was Deron Williams won a gold medel in Beijing. I WON!! WooHoo!! Kelly & I were both so excited. The radio announcers thought that I was crying but that was just my laugh. Well that was a few weeks ago and today we got our tickets! I had to go downtown for this shooting competion for a chance to win lower bowl tickets. Well I didn't make any baskets but it tried. Kelly is really excited & i'm happy because they're mine so I have the power.

Pure Bliss!

Well, we decided it was time to take another adventure, and decided to venture forth to Alaska. April booked us a sweet deal on a cruise that took off from Vancouver. We decided it would be cheaper to drive rather than fly there. So....we loaded up the "oxcart," and we were off!

Our first stop was in Bliss, Idaho. We thought Bliss might be a little more "blissful," but with only a population of 275, I guess the bliss didn't last too long.

Tulip Festival

About a week ago Kelly & I went with my family to the Tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point. I had never been to the gardens there before and they were amazing. It was a beautiful day & it was great to spend time with my family. I love spring and tulips are my favorite flower. At Thanksgiving point they plant about 250,000 tulip bulbs every year!

It's about time!!

Well I figure its about time that I actually right something on this blog since I created it back in October. I am not a very interesting person so I can't make any promises of how exciting or frequent my posts will be but I thought I would give it a try.
